Crest

This sculpture is held together through the jointing of wood with string. The shape is created by bending the wood to its limits by placing spacers in between each rectangle piece. These spacers are not fixed in place and the removal of any one would result in the collapse of the entire structure. This moment between the form and the collapse is indicative of the motion of a wave and its moment between the crest and the crash.
