Origin: The Roots of Plastic

This sculpture attempts to imitate the shape of a crumpled plastic bag. It reconnects the plastic end-product to its original source, in order to highlight the limited resources we are given on the planet. The materials that form the shape are created by burnt pieces of pallet wood “carbon,” in order to link the plastic bag to the cycle of fossil fuels. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
